ABZ IZ BACK!!!

But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. Isaiah 28:13

Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

For mine own sake, even for mine own sake will I do it: for how should My name be polluted? and I will not give My glory unto another.

Isaiah 48:10-11

16. Relate in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East.

17. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent her our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects.

18. She said: "I seek refuge from thee to the Most Gracious: (come not near) if you fear God."

19. He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son.

20. She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?"

21. He said: "So (it will be): Your Lord says, 'that is easy for Me:

and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us': It is a matter (so) decreed."

22. So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a remote place.

23. And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: She cried (in her anguish): "Ah! would that I had died before this!

would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!"

24. But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;

25. "And shake towards thyself the trunk of the palm-tree: It will let fall fresh ripe dates upon thee.

26. "So eat and drink and cool (thine) eye. And if thou dost see any man, say,

'I have vowed a fast to the Most Gracious, and this day will I enter into no talk with any human being'"

27. At length she brought the (child) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). They said: "O Mary! truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!

28. "O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!"

29. But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"

30. He said:

"I am indeed a servant of God. He has given me revelation and made me a prophet;

31. "And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;

32. "(He) has made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable;

33. "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!

34. Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute.

35. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) God that He should beget a son.

Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.

36. Verily God is my Lord and your Lord: Him therefore serve: this is a Way that is straight.

37. But the sects differ among themselves: and woe to the unbelievers because of the (coming) Judgment of a Momentous Day!

Al Quran 19:16-37

And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death;

and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;-

YUSUFALI: Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary:

because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses.

PICKTHAL: Those of the Children of Israel who went astray were cursed by the tongue of David, and of Jesus, son of Mary.

That was because they rebelled and used to transgress.

SHAKIR: Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium;

this was because they disobeyed and used to exceed the limit.

"Every eye shall see Him." Rev 1:7 Does this mean that every dead person from Adam till the coming of Jesus will be resurrected to see Jesus coming in glory, then the righteous will go meet Jesus in the air and everyone else will die?

Let us compare this Bible text with other Bible texts referring to the same event. Erroneous conclusions can be reached if one bases one's understanding solely on only one Bible text.

Rev 1:7 "Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him;

and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen." NIV

Matt 24:30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn.

They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory." NIV

Ezek 30:3 "For the day is near, the day of the LORD is near- a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations." NIV

All these texts have this in common:

+ They all talk about Jesus' return.

+ Certain People on earth will not be too happy about this event.

It's interesting to note that in the Greek language of Revelation 1:7

"people of the earth" is referred to as "pásai hai fulaí teés gees" which literally means "all the tribes of the earth".

And to the dust of death thou appointest me, For surrounded me have dogs, A company of evil doers have compassed me, Piercing my hands and my feet.

Geneva Study Bible

For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they {k} pierced my hands and my feet.

(k) Thus David complained as though he were nailed by his enemies in both hands and feet, but this was accomplished in Christ.

Wesley's Notes

22:16 Dogs - So he calls his enemies for their insatiable greediness, and implacable fierceness against him. Pierced - These words cannot with any probability be applied to David.

It's interesting to note that in the Greek language of Revelation 1:7 "people of the earth" is referred to as "pásai hai fulaí teés gees" which literally means "all the tribes of the earth".

This is in sharp contrast with "the tribes of Israel" (see Rev 7:4 "Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel."

NIV and Rev 21:12 "On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel." NIV, which is referring to the saved Jews.

The first group is terrified of Jesus' return, the second group rejoices with this event.

PICKTHAL: Such are disbelievers in truth; and for disbelievers We prepare a shameful doom.
SHAKIR: These it is that are truly unbelievers, and We have prepared for the unbelievers a disgraceful chastisement.

PICKTHAL: But those who believe in Allah and His messengers and make no distinction between any of them, unto them Allah will give their wages; and Allah was ever Forgiving, Merciful.

YUSUFALI: The people of the Book ask thee to cause a book to descend to them from heaven: Indeed they asked Moses for an even greater (miracle), for they said: "Show us Allah in public," but they were dazed for their presumption, with thunder and lightning. Yet they worshipped the calf even after clear signs had come to them; even so we forgave them; and gave Moses manifest proofs of authority.
PICKTHAL: The people of the Scripture ask of thee that thou shouldst cause an (actual) Book to descend upon them from heaven. They asked a greater thing of Moses aforetime, for they said: Show us Allah plainly. The storm of lightning seized them for their wickedness. Then (even) after that) they chose the calf (for worship) after clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) had come unto them. And We forgave them that! And We bestowed on Moses evident authority.
SHAKIR: The followers of the Book ask you to bring down to them a book from heaven; so indeed they demanded of Musa a greater thing than that, for they said: Show us Allah manifestly; so the lightning overtook them on account of their injustice. Then they took the calf (for a god), after clear signs had come to them, but We pardoned this; and We gave to Musa clear authority.

004.154

YUSUFALI: And for their covenant we raised over them (the towering height) of Mount (Sinai); and (on another occasion) we said: "Enter the gate with humility"; and (once again) we commanded them: "Transgress not in the matter of the sabbath." And we took from them a solemn covenant.
PICKTHAL: And We caused the Mount to tower above them at (the taking of) their covenant: and We bade them: Enter the gate, prostrate! and We bode them: Transgress not the Sabbath! and We took from them a firm covenant.
SHAKIR: And We lifted the mountain (Sainai) over them at (the li taking of the covenant) and We said to them: Enter the door making obeisance; and We said to them: Do not exceed the limits of the Sabbath, and We made with them a firm covenant.

YUSUFALI: (They have incurred divine displeasure): In that they broke their covenant; that they rejected the signs of Allah; that they slew the Messengers in defiance of right; that they said, "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word; We need no more)";- Nay, Allah hath set the seal on their hearts for their blasphemy, and little is it they believe;-
PICKTHAL: Then because of their breaking of their covenant, and their disbelieving in the revelations of Allah, and their slaying of the prophets wrongfully, and their saying: Our hearts are hardened - Nay, but Allah set a seal upon them for their disbelief, so that they believe not save a few -
SHAKIR: Therefore, for their breaking their covenant and their disbelief in the communications of Allah and their killing the prophets wrongfully and their saying: Our hearts are covered; nay! Allah set a seal upon them owing to their unbelief, so they shall not believe except a few.

004.156
YUSUFALI: That they rejected Faith; that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge;
PICKTHAL: And because of their disbelief and of their speaking against Mary a tremendous calumny;
SHAKIR: And for their unbelief and for their having uttered against Marium a grievous calumny.

004.157
YUSUFALI: That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-
PICKTHAL: And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah's messenger - they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.
SHAKIR: And their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah, Isa son of Marium, the messenger of Allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.

004.158
YUSUFALI: Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;-
PICKTHAL: But Allah took him up unto Himself. Allah was ever Mighty, Wise.
SHAKIR: Nay! Allah took him up to Himself; and Allah is Mighty, Wise.

004.159
YUSUFALI: And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;-
PICKTHAL: There is not one of the People of the Scripture but will believe in him before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them -
SHAKIR: And there is not one of the followers of the Book but most certainly believes in this before his death, and on the day of resurrection he (Isa) shall be a witness against them.

Mahdi means: The One Who Is Rightly Guided

Certain it is that IN THE TIME OF HAZRAT MAHDI (AS)

IF A BELIEVER IS IN THE EAST HE WILL SEE HIS BROTHER IN THE WEST.

AND IF HE IS IN THE WEST, HE WILL SEE HIS BROTHER IN THE EAST.

(Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 52, p. 391)

Hazrat Mahdi (as) will (spiritually) conquer both east and west

and cause Islam (the moral values of Islam) to rule the world...

ALLAH WILL BESTOW SUCH POWERS ON PEOPLE THAT

EVERYONE WILL HEAR HIS (THE MAHDI’S (AS)) WORDS,

WHEREVER THEY MAY BE

and Imam (as) will give life to Islam...

(Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 52, p. 27 and Vol. 53, p.12 Ikmal'ud- Din, Vol. 2, p. 367)

Sadir al-Sayrafi says: I heard from Imam Abu Abdullah Jafar al-Sadiq that: ...

He whose rights have been taken away and who is denied

(HAZRAT MAHDI (AS)) WILL WALK AMONG THEM,

MOVE THROUGH THEIR MARKETS AND WALK WHERE THEY WALK.

BUT THEY WILL NOT RECOGNIZE HAZRAZ MAHDI (AS)

until Allah gives them leave to recognize him,

just as He did with the Prophet Yusuf (as).

(Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani, p.189)

Amr bin Sa’ad narrates from Commander of the Faithful Ali bin Abu Talib:

“... I swear to the Lord of Ali that HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) WILL BE ON FOOT, WILL WALK IN THE PATHS OF THIS WORLD,

WILL ENTER HOMES AND PALACES, WILL TRAVEL IN THE EAST AND WEST,

HIS WORDS WILL BE HEARD AND WILL GREET AND SEE THE COMMUNITY,

but he will not be known until the promised time and until that voice comes from the sky.”

(Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani, p. 167)

Every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of him. So be it! Amen.

                                                                       The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, the son of Mary

will certainly pronounce the Talbiyah for Hajj or for 'Umrah, or for both in the valley of Rauha'."

(Narrated by Muslim, 1252)

The valley of Rawha' is a place between Makkah and Madinah

Translator's note: The Talbiyah is a prayer recited by pilgrims going to Makkah.

It may be translated as follows:

"Here I am at your service, O Allaah, here I am. Here I am at Your Service,

You have no partner, here I am.

All praise and blessings are Yours, and all dominion.

You have no partner."

 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments;

and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

Revelation 3:4

Behold, he cometh with clouds;

and every eye shall see him,

and they also which pierced him:

and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Revelation 1:7

Matthew 24:7

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west;

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

KJV

For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west,

so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

NIV 1984

                                                                12: 6 For though I might desire to boast, I will not be a fool; for I will speak the truth. But I refrain,

                                                                              lest anyone should think of me above what he sees me to be or hears from me.

 The Thorn in the Flesh

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations,

a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me,

lest I be exalted above measure.

8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.

9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore most gladly jI will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

11 I have become a fool in boasting; you have compelled me. For I ought to have been commended by you; for in nothing was I behind the most eminent apostles, though I am nothing.  12 Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you with all perseverance, in signs and wonders and mighty deeds.  13 For what is it in which you were inferior to other churches, except that I myself was not burdensome to you? Forgive me this wrong!

14 Now for the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you; for I do not seek yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.  15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for your souls; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.

 16 But be that as it may, I did not burden you. Nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you by cunning!  17 Did I take advantage of you by any of those whom I sent

to you?  18 I urged Titus, and sent our brother with him. Did Titus take advantage of you? Did we not walk in the same spirit? Did we not walk in the same steps?

 19 Again, do you think that we excuse ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ. But we do all things, beloved, for your edification.

20 For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and that

I shall be found by you such as you do not wish; lest there be contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults;

 21 lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and I shall mourn for many who have sinned before and have not repented of the uncleanness, fornication, and lewdness which they have practiced.

13 This will be the third time I am coming to you. “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.”

2 I have told you before, and foretell as if I were present the second time, and now being absent I write to those who have sinned before, and to all the rest,

that if I come again I will not spare—  since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you.

 4 For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you.

 5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in (some translations say "among") you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.  6 But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.

7 Now I pray to God that you do no evil, not that we should appear approved, but that you should do what is honorable, though we may seem disqualified.

8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

9 For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. And this also we pray, that you may be made complete.

10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the authority which the Lord has given me for edification and not for destruction.

I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall?

God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy

Romans 11:11

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh

Romans 8:3

                                                                  In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

1.Praise be to Allah, Who hath sent to His Servant the Book, and hath allowed therein no Crookedness:

2. (He hath made it) Straight (and Clear) in order that He may warn (the godless) of a terrible Punishment from Him,

 and that He may give Glad Tidings to the Believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward,

3. Wherein they shall remain for ever:

4.Further, that He may warn those (also) who say, "(Allah) hath begotten a son":

5.No knowledge have they of such a thing, nor had their fathers.

It is a grievous thing that issues from their mouths as a saying what they say is nothing but falsehood!

6. Thou wouldst only, perchance, fret thyself to death, following after them, in grief, if they believe not in this Message.

7. That which is on earth we have made but as a glittering show for the earth, in order that We may test them

- as to which of them are best in conduct.

8. Verily what is on earth we shall make but as dust and dry soil (without growth or herbage).

Al Quran 18:1-8

 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary!”

She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).

 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them,

‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”

 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the 4disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.

116. And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary!

Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah.?"

He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say).

Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it.

Thou knowest what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden.

117. "Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me to say,

to wit, 'worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord';

and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them;

when Thou didst take me up Thou wast the Watcher over them,

and Thou art a witness to all things.

118. "If Thou dost punish them, they are Thy servants:

If Thou dost forgive them, Thou art the Exalted in power, the Wise."

119. Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth:

theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal Home:

Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah.

That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires).

120. To Allah doth belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein,

and it is He Who hath power over all things.

1 Corinthians 10:11

Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with the blood of others;

For then must he have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world

hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement:

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Hebrews 9:25-28

And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, I and the children which God hath given me.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same;

 that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

And deliver them, who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren,

that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Hebrews 2:13-18

“And nothing prevented people from believing when the guidance came to them, except that they said:

‘Has God sent a man as (His) Messenger?’

Say: ‘If there were on the earth, angels walking about in peace and security,

We should certainly have sent down for them from the heaven an angel as a Messenger’”

Al Quran - The Children of Israel 17:94-95

The Sin-Bearing Servant

13 Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently;

He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.

 14 Just as many were astonished at you,

So His visage was marred more than any man,

And His form more than the sons of men;

 15 So shall He sprinkle many nations.

Kings shall shut their mouths at Him;

For what had not been told them they shall see,

And what they had not heard they shall consider.

53 Who has believed our report?

And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,

And as a root out of dry ground.

He has no form or comeliness;

And when we see Him,

There is no beauty that we should desire Him.

 He is despised and rejected by men,

A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.

And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;

He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

 Surely He has borne our griefs

And carried our sorrows;

Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

Smitten by God, and afflicted.

 But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

 All we like sheep have gone astray;

We have turned, every one, to his own way;

And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,

Yet He opened not His mouth;

He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,

And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,

So He opened not His mouth.

 He was taken from prison and from judgment,

And who will declare His generation?

For He was cut off from the land of the living;

For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

 And they made His grave with the wicked—

But with the rich at His death,

Because He had done no violence,

Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;

He has put Him to grief.

When You make His soul an offering for sin,

He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,

And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.

 He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied.

By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,

For He shall bear their iniquities.

 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,

And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,

Because He poured out His soul unto death,

And He was numbered with the transgressors,

And He bore the sin of many,

And made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 52:13 - 53:12

57. And When the son of Mary is held up as an example, behold, thy people raise a clamour thereat

      (in ridicule)!

58. And they say, "Are our gods best, or he?" This they set forth to thee, only by way of disputation:

yea, they are a contentious people.

59. He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him,

      and We made him an example to the Children of Israel.

60. And if it were Our Will, We could make angels from amongst you, succeeding each other on the earth.

61. And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me: this is a Straight Way.

62. Let not the Devil hinder you: for he is to you an enemy avowed.

63. When Jesus came with Clear Signs, he said: "Now have I come to you with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) on which ye dispute: therefore fear Allah and obey me.

64. "For Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship ye Him: this is a Straight Way."

65. But sects from among themselves fell into disagreement: then woe to the wrong-doers,

from the Penalty of a Grievous Day!

66. Do they only wait for the Hour - that it should come on them all of a sudden, while they perceive not?

67. Friends on that day will be foes, one to another,- except the Righteous.

68. My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,-

69. (Being) those who have believed in Our Signs and bowed (their wills) in submission.

70. Enter ye the Garden, ye and your wives, in (beauty and) rejoicing.

Al Quran - Ornaments of gold 43:57-70

YUSUFALI: Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food.

See how God doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!

PICKTHAL: The Messiah, son of Mary, was no other than a messenger, messengers (the like of whom) had passed away before him. And his mother was a saintly woman. And they both used to eat (earthly) food. See how We make the revelations clear for them, and see how they are turned away!

SHAKIR: The Messiah, son of Mariam is but a messenger; messengers before him have indeed passed away; and his mother was a truthful woman; they both used to eat food. See how We make the communications clear to them, then behold, how they are turned away.

Al Quran The Table Spread 5:075

Matt. 19:16–22; Luke 18:18–23

17 Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?”

 18 So Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’

 20 And he answered and said to Him, “Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth.”

 21 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.”

 22 But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

 Difficulty of Riches

Matt. 19:23–26; Luke 18:24–27

23 sThen Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!”  24 And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!  25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

 26 And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?”

 27 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

 13 The Pharisees therefore said to Him, “You bear witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true.”

 14 Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but lyou do not know where I come from and where I am going.  15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one.  16 And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me.  17 It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true.  18 I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me.”

 19 Then they said to Him, “Where is Your Father?”

Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.”

 20 These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and uno one laid hands on Him, for vHis hour had not yet come.

 21 Then Jesus said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come.”

 22 So the Jews said, “Will He kill Himself, because He says, ‘Where I go you cannot come’?” 23 And He said to them, “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.  24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; bfor if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

 25 Then they said to Him, “Who are You?”

And Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.  26 I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.”

 27 They did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father.

 28 Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and hthat I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.  29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, lfor I always do those things that please Him.”  30 As He spoke these words, mmany believed in Him.

 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.  32 And you shall know the otruth, and pthe truth shall make you free.”

 33 They answered Him, q“We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?”

 34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.  35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.  36tTherefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

 37 “I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you.  38 vI speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.”

 39 They answered and said to Him, w“Abraham is our father.”

Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham.  40 But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.  41 You do the deeds of your father.”

Then they said to Him, “We were not born of fornication; awe have one Father—God.”

 42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for cI proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.  43 Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.  44 fYou are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and idoes not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.  45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.  46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?  47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

 48 Then the Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and khave a demon?”

 49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.  50 And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges.  51 Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.”

 52 Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You ohave a demon! pAbraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.’ 53 Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. qWho do You make Yourself out to be?”

 54 Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God.  55 Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word.  56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”

 57 Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”

 58 Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.”

 59 Then zthey took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

9 Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth.  2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, awho sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

 3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.  4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day;the night is coming when no one can work.  5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Book 12, Number 12.2.4:

Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from Fatima bint al Mundhir that Asma bint Abi Bakr as-Siddiq said, "I went to A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, during an eclipse of the sun, and everybody was standing in prayer, and she too was standing praying. I said, 'What is everybody doing?' She pointed towards the sky with her hand and said, 'Glory be to Allah.' I said, 'A sign?' She nodded 'Yes' with her head."

She continued, "I stood until I had almost fainted, and I began to pour water over my head.

The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,

praised Allah and spoke well of Him, and then said,

'There is nothing which I had previously not seen beforehand

that I have not now seen while standing - even the Garden and the Fire.

It has been revealed to me that you will be tried in your graves with a trial,

like, or near to, the trial of the Dajjal (I do not know which one Asma said).

Every one of you will have someone who comes to him and asks him,

'What do you know about this man?' A believer, or one who has certainty (I do not know which one Asma said), will say,

'He is Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who came to us with clear proofs and guidance,

and we answered and believed and followed.'

He will then be told, 'Sleep in a good state. We know now that you were a believer.'

A hypocrite, however, or one who has doubts (l do not know which one Asma said), will say, 'I do not know, I heard everybody saying something and I said it.' "

Battle Hymn Of The Republic

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord:

He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;

He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword:

His truth is marching on.

(Chorus)

Glory, glory, hallelujah!

Glory, glory, hallelujah!

Glory, glory, hallelujah!

His truth is marching on.

I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps,

They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;

I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps:

His day is marching on.

(Chorus)

I have read a fiery gospel writ in burnished rows of steel:

"As ye deal with my contemners, so with you my grace shall deal;

Let the Hero, born of woman, crush the serpent with his heel,

Since God is marching on."

(Chorus)

He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;

He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment-seat:

Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant, my feet!

Our God is marching on.

(Chorus)

In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,

With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me:

As He died to make men holy, let us die to make men free,

While God is marching on.

(Chorus)

He is coming like the glory of the morning on the wave,

He is Wisdom to the mighty, He is Succour to the brave,

So the world shall be His footstool, and the soul of Time His slave,

Our God is marching on.

(Chorus)

They said: “O Salih! You have been of us! A centre of our hopes hitherto! Do you now forbid us the worship of

what our fathers worshipped?

But we are really in suspicious doubt as to that to which you invite us.”

He said: “O my people!

Do you see? If I have a Clear Sign from my lord and He has sent mercy to me from Himself,

What then would you add to my (Portion) but perdition?
